This tutorial will show you how you can connect to our very own chat channel within the Langtoft.net service.

You will need to download the following software.

The first thing to do is to click on this button on the toolbar, it is the second one in from the left.



Once you have done this a new window will appear in which you will need to fill in the details as shown below.



This shows who is connecting to the server, fill in the field with your information. After you have entered your details hit the OK button.



Now hit the third button which will load up a new window as shown below.



Hit the “Add” button so we can enter the details for the Langtoft.net server.

This window is for the Langtoft.net server, fill in the details as shown below.

Press the OK button and then OK again.

When you are back at the status window, hit the button shown above. This will then connect you



In the text box at the bottom of the window type the following:

You will then be in the Langtoft.net chat channel



This is the chat window, you can now ask the questions you need. On the right hand side you will see the user list of who is in the channel.
