I am a pensioner and I had a computer before I was connected to Broadband. So what has the connection to Langtoft.Net done for me? Opened up a whole new world, that's all! Although they call us 'silver surfers' I didn't actually surf the net at all before I joined Langtoft.Net. My computer was used mainly as a word processor with a quick flip to collect or send e-mails now and again. Why? Being 'on line' meant that my telephone line was tied up, not to mention the bill rocketing. Now I don't have to worry about that.
Since Langtoft.Net is a satellite system my telephone line is left free and I can search for information, visit places that I have only dreamed of, and generally 'surf the net' for as long as I please with no extra cost. What is more, Broadband is so fast that even the least patient of us can enjoy it to the full. Thank you Langtoft.Net for a new lease of life.
