Phase.2 – “Lets get connected…” – Operation “Stereo MC”

Phase 2 is to get clients connected to the network to receive the broadband signal provided by Langtoft.net.

Installation will include the following items to be installed into client’s property.
(Hardware may vary depending on signal strength and property structure and location)

We have estimated that it will take two to three months to fully roll out Phase.2 and have the pre-registered clients connected to the network.

Progress Update: Langtoft.net more clients installed. 13/02/05

Phase two is now fully under way, we now have enough mesh boxes within the village to allow clients to be installed sucessfully. A number of clients have now been installed and are using the Langtoft.net service without trouble.

Another reason for the client installs to start going ahead was the purchase of the new Langtoft.net server. This server allows us to offer the Langtoft.net client a number of different services, these include a fully functional email server as well as there own private web space in which they can store there own website. The server also allows new users to access there emails from any computer that has access to an internet connection, this is very similar to Hotmail or Yahoo services.

All customers will now be recieving a welcome pack, this pack will include useful information about using the Langtoft.net service, it will also tell you your email addresses, username and passwords for the service. This is useful if you forget your password or buy new computer and you want to use the Langtoft.net service on the new system.
